Opinion: Enforcing the law is not something to be protested

Unenforced laws are often abused. For example, more people would ignore the speed limit if police officers weren’t patrolling the highways and issuing traffic citations. Furthermore, vehicle accidents, serious injuries and deaths would increase while respect for the law would decrease.
