Georgia Tech senior Bartley Forrester, a North Hall High graduate, notched his sixth career top-10 finish and fifth in the last two years, after carding a 2-over-par 72 in the final round of the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday.

He finished the 54-hole event at 4-under par, which put him in a tie for sixth place and four strokes behind the winner.

On Tuesday, Forrester put three straight bogeys on his card on the final round to end his hunt for victory at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

On Monday, Forrester put up rounds of 1-under par 69 and 5-under par 65 to maintain a one-stroke lead going into the final day.

His first two rounds were superb, including only one bogey for all 36 holes.
