Juror refuses to deliberate in trial of dentist charged with murdering boyfriend

A juror has reportedly refused to deliberate in the trial of Suzanne Mericle, a St. Simons Island dentist charged with fatally shooting her boyfriend, 68-year-old James David Barron, in their Lake Lanier home in March 2025.
