Hall County domestic violence event to spotlight the dangers of strangulation
09162026DomesticViolence
The Hall County Domestic Violence Task Force will hold its annual Domestic Violence Breakfast & Briefing Oct. 15 at Brenau University’s Lynn J. Darby School of Psychology and Adolescent Counseling in downtown Gainesville. This year’s program, titled “What Goes Around Your Neck Can Be Deadly,” will focus on nonfatal strangulation and its connection to domestic violence homicides.
Strangulation, one of the most dangerous forms of domestic violence, will be the focus of an upcoming Hall County event aimed at raising awareness and educating the community.
