Braves World Series trophy tour to make a stop in Gainesville

The World Champion Atlanta Braves are bringing their hardware to Gainesville Thursday, July 7. 

Fans will have an opportunity to take a picture with the Commissioner’s Trophy noon to 3 p.m. at Truist Bank at 455 Jesse Jewell Parkway. 

Gainesville is one of 151 stops on the World Series trophy’s tour around the region that started in February, honoring the Braves’ 151st year as a franchise. 

The Braves won their first World Series championship in 26 years last November against the Houston Astros. 

Fans will also have a chance to win a promotional item giveaway at the event and an opportunity to win a VIP experience to Truist Park when the Braves play the New York Mets on Oct. 1. 

And 680/93.7FM The Fan, will be on-site for a live broadcast of their midday show, Cellini & Dimino.
