BREAKING: Verdict in for Gainesville father accused of violently shaking infant son

Jurors began deliberating around 1 p.m. Friday, July 24, in the child abuse trial of a Gainesville father who took the stand and denied violently shaking his 8-week-old son, saying he only “jostled” the infant after the boy appeared to choke and went limp.
