A Gainesville semi-truck driver was charged Tuesday, Oct. 14, with multiple counts of vehicular homicide and distracted driving after authorities said he rear-ended a minivan on Interstate 85, triggering a fiery six-car crash that killed eight members of the same family — three adults and five children.
